Kids in Crisis - Sheldon Area
The proceeds (95%) from the Irish Night of Giving event provides support for kids in extreme life crisis situations, such as: homeless students, foster placements, wards of the State, and students and families in extreme poverty and Sheldon academic classrooms and programs. The funds assist with:
· Living needs: medical emergencies, food, clothing, hygiene needs, school supplies, bicycles for transportation to and from school and work, and temporary and long term living shelters, etc.
· Support for academic classrooms and programs at Sheldon High School
· Scholarships for attending college upon graduation from Sheldon High School.
· Extra-curricular activities participation: school fees and equipment for participation in athletics, student body clubs and student activities programs.
Kids and families are struggling these days, and the need for help is immense. Your participation, donation, and contribution will go a long way toward helping us with our goal to provide equity and assist kids in desperate living situations.
